ENERTIME has been selected for a grant and loan from the French Energy Agency ADEME for its Project ORCASIL.

The objective of the ORCASIL project is the installation and operation of a 3 MW Organic Rankine Cycle module (ORC) on one of the FerroPem silicon production furnace in Anglefort plant in France. FerroPem (Group FerroAtlántica) will be a partner in the Project.

The installation will improve the energy efficiency of the furnace by approximately 10% producing 17 GWh of electricity per year.

The total project cost amounts €9.0 million over 3 years and will be partially funded under the PIA program operated by the ADEME for an amount of €3.5 million in the form of grants and loans.

.The Project will operate on a ESCO model (energy efficiency as a service). Enertime will organize the overall financing of the project, and will be in charge of the operation of the ORC module under a service contract.
