Marine is a French engineer from the ESSTIN engineering school in Nancy, France, with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Ecology from Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg, Sweden. While on a research assistantship in 2007-2008 at Yale University, she wrote a Master’s thesis on the Environmental Impact of Stainless Steel Manufacturing within the Forestry School and Environmental Studies Department of the Center for Industrial Ecology. Marine is project manager in biomass energy and works mostly on biomass power plants, heating plants for industrial processes (or district heating) and pellets plants in France and abroad. She conducts techno-economic studies (biomass supply plans, installations design, quotation documents, business plan elaboration, and project financial analyses) and helps the client with the administrative and regulatory aspects of the project (authorization file, building permit, grid connection etc.).
