Organic Rankine Cycle modules have interesting applications in Concentrated Solar Power generation. Enertime is targeting this application, with the ORCHID module. The objective of the project, called ORC EN CIEL, is to develop ORC-based medium-size industrial CSP plants (1 MWe typical size) to replace diesel generators in isolated grid power generation, or to supply power to island grids.
